Please keep your backing, batting and top separate from each other--I load these on individually, not sandwiched at one time.
Your backing and batting must be 4 inches wider on each side, to assure I can load the machine with enough room to quilt it well.
Make sure your backing and top are ironed, and any loose threads are clipped.
Stitch around the edge of your quilt to assure that seams do not come loose in the process of working on your top.
Make sure there are no pins or embellishments on your top--I can break a needle if they are present.
If I am quilting a t-shirt quilt with thick vinyl that you would find on a sports jersey, I will create something creative around it--this can be difficult to put a needle through and cause problems. We'll find a way to get it done!
